5 improvisations recorded on the night of 7th March 2024.
After 10 years, Jazz Orient get together one evening to improvise some music. The magic is still there.

background
Jazz Orient (aka Re-Orient, when they were signed to the ARC Music label) had not played together for 10 years, due to being busy with other projects, plus 2 years of the pandemic.
Then one evening, by chance, they found they were all in Chris’s home city of Leicester - with instruments! So they went out for dinner at a chaat house on Leicester’s Golden Mile, and then on to his Aloft Studio. There they improvised 5 tracks - just like that. No plan or instructions. They just played.
The magic was still there! Their 33 year, 7 album (and 1 single) association gave each of them an instinct or shared memory, for sensing what the other 2 might do at certain times. The tracks are in the order in which they were played. Then, as it was getting late, it was time Baluji & Linda had to go.
But the Jazz Orient/Re-Orient journey continues...
